Friday night services at our synagogue, Temple Har Shalom, will be the first event during Sam's Bar Mitzvah weekend. Services start at 6:30 p.m. and it takes roughly 45 minutes to make the trip to Park City, so we recommend leaving a full hour ahead from the hotel in Salt Lake. If you need a ride, please contact us ASAP and we'll make sure you have transportation. There will be a light dessert reception, an Oneg Shabbat, following the service, around 8 p.m.

Torah Service and Kiddush Luncheon

Sam will be called to read from the Torah at 10:30 a.m. Saturday morning, June 11, at the Wagner Jewish Community Center. Our synagogue in Park City is not big enough to hold all of you, our wonderful family and friends, so we chose the JCC, which has a lovely view of the Salt Lake Valley and the Great Salt Lake. A kiddush luncheon will be served immediately following the ceremony at approximately 12:30 p.m. Again, please contact us ahead of time if you need transportation from the hotel to the Wagner Center.

We will gather once again Saturday evening for a casual party bringing Sam's friends and our traveling friends and family together at the Wagner Center. Dinner and drinks will be followed by dancing and drama -- and, of course, dessert! Dress comfortably and be ready to relax and have a wonderful evening! We'd be happy to help those who need rides to and from the hotel -- just kindly let us know in advance!
