Welcome to the My Story section of our webpage! I hope this provides at least some information about me that you didn't know before, and then some of my commentation about my upcoming bar mitzvah.
I'll start with the basics. My full name is Samuel Conrad Katz. I am currently a seventh grader and I attend the McGillis School, which is just two houses up the street. I very much enjoy playing piano, basketball, and video games, reading (The Da Vinci Code is a recent favorite), hanging out with friends, listening to music, and, again recently, gorging myself at The Maccaroni Grill (especially their dessert ravioli dish. MMMMMM.) But above all, I absolutely LOVE to act. I have been in three public performances so far. The Great Brain (2003) and The Boxcar Children (2004) were both done at The Children's Theater of Salt Lake. But more recently, I was in a play called Senora (I don't know how to make the little squiggly above the n) Tortuga, which was at Youth Theater at the U.
And now for my commentary on my upcoming bar mitzvah. I can honestly say that I am very excited, anxious, and nervous about my bar mitzvah. I am really looking forward to the whole thing! No, I don't mean just the party and the presents (Though I'm looking forward to those too! :-)) ). I realize that what's really important is the ceremony. It is about becoming a man (HOO-HAH! jk) according to Jewish traditions.
